Green Banana Smoothie

Spring has sprung and it’s time for some fresh new flavours to wake those taste buds from their stodgy winter slumbers. This uber-healthy smoothie was recommended by my Yoga teacher Ingrid and it tastes amazing! Even the kids loved it.. have one every day and I guarantee you’ll notice a difference.

2 frozen bananas (makes it really creamy!)

1 orange

1 kiwifruit

A cup of greenstuff – I used mixed spinach, kale and parsley

1 cup of water and some ice.

Stick it in a blender or a NutriBullet – drink, enjoy and give your body a great internal spring-clean!

Leafy greens are full of minerals and chlorophyll which deodorises and cleans the body as well as the lymphatic system. This smoothie helps make the body more alkaline, so you’ll feel better, more positive and generally look healthier!
