Why Google punish ‘unresponsive’ websites.
Last year, Google announced that there were now more Internet Searches on mobile devices than on traditional desktop computers. Most searches done outside office hours are on mobile devices – and this trend is growing, with Desktop searches declining and Mobile device growth increasing.
Because of this, Google have already changed their search algorithms to ensure that they recommend websites designed for mobile devices above old static websites..and with millions of websites upgrading to this new technology, your website will soon become ‘invisible’. So the writing is on the wall as they say (in the far top left corner, in tiny writing!). Read this Post: ‘Google will punish you if you don’t have a mobile-friendly website’
Is your Website Responsive?
On a desktop computer, watch your own website in the browser window as you ‘drag’ the corner of the window in and up towards the opposite corner– if the image stays static and you find yourself looking at the top corner only – that’s an old website.A ‘Fully Responsive’ website will juggle the elements of the page around as you watch, so they continue to be viewable even as you change the size & shape of the screen.
What does this mean to me?
We can help.
Think of it as your brand new shop window – a mobile screen to tell people about your business.
It’s a chance to do whatever you want to do, to be what you want to be..
